Responsibilities:


This is a Temporary HR Recruiter role:
  • Primary function will be to perform full-cycle recruiting assignments- Positions will vary based on business needs
  • May support HR functions as needed: i.e. Candidate on-boarding, general administrative work related to high volume hiring, may assist with resolving employee concerns if needed
  • Partners with other HR staff & and HR Head to develop and implements strategic recruitment and employment programs. This person will be called upon to recruit, interview candidates and attend recruiting events as needed by the team.
  • May be called upon to assist in a variety of department duties/ needs
  • Coordinates the process of onboarding new hires and insures consistent orientation
  • Develop metrics to gauge employee satisfaction and present aggregate results along with action plans to improve satisfaction and productivity to strengthen client satisfaction and increase productivity
  • Consult with corporate regional team and operations to develop succession planning strategies & develop IDP programs for employees
  • Responsible for helping to keep a complete and accurate employee records
  • Serves as regional resource for HR policy updates and benefit & compensation matters
  • Ensures timely submission of government/statutory forms & reports. Assists all employees with questions on loans and other benefits while partnering with the Sr. HR Manager to ensure that the department is in compliance with all regulatory matters
  • Acts as regional liaison for Corporate HR
  • Engaged as subject matter expert to develop & execute site specific safety plans.
  • Coordinates and conducts training and development programs for the region as required by local operational needs and corporate priorities and requirements
  • Assists Managers with employee counseling, proper documentation of performance issues and terminations, as required. Handles medical & dental insurance, issues, short-term & long-term disability, worker’s compensation/safety issues & leaves of absence
  • Assists in HR projects such as Newsletter, weekly operations communications, event planning etc.
  • Performs other duties as requested by upper management or client representatives And, as expected of every employee of Canon Business Process Services, the HR Recruiter is expected to: Maintain or exceed CBPS’ quality standards for all assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm to exceed client expectations.
  • Conduct behavior in a professional manner, consistent with normal business practices.
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive information, in line with the Information Security policy of the organization.
  • Adhere to all CBPS’ policies and procedures.


Physical Demands:


  • Work on a phone/computer for a majority of your shift
  • Able to handle stressful or busy situations well
  • Travel for business if needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years Recruiting/HR in a professional business setting
  • Some exposure to full-cycle recruiting (3 yrs exp in a call center or volume recruiting environment preferred)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Advance Excel skills preferred)
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems. Some experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or processing hires through an online system
  • Highly organized and can work well in a process driven environment
  • Ability to handle difficult clients, employees and situations. Advanced customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand visual processes, interpret data and translate into written word
  • Advanced organizational, administrative, record keeping and time management skills
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong team approach to business
