Job Title: Temporary Student Resource Center (SRC) Monitor
Reports to: Director of Student Learning
Terms and Conditions: 11/3/22 - 2/10/23, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Rate of Pay: $20.61 per hour
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Student Resource Center Monitor is to provide supervision of students in the Student Resource Center and encourage safe and appropriate conduct.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor students entering and exiting the Student Resource Center.
- Supervise students of the Learning Stairs.
- Support a positive and welcoming environment.
- Encourage appropriate student conduct.
- Assist students in the event of an emergency.
- Provide ongoing communication to administrators regarding student safety concerns.
- Report and document violations of school policies.
- Promote an image of professionalism and safety while performing job duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport with students, staff, parents, and community.
- Reliable transportation.

Environmental Conditions:
Standard classroom/tutorial conditions in a setting of 50 students or fewer.
