Position Overview
The Testing Administrator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and control of various test activities. Responsibilities include creating a test process and test strategy that analyzes which test methods and tools are suitable and used for test activities. This role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing efforts.
Position Classification
This role will be a seasonal, hybrid position. Essential position functions will primarily occur within a designated testing center. Specific testing locations will be shared with the Testing Administrator as testing schedules are arranged. See "Regions Available" below for specific locations where this position will be utilized.
Essential Position Functions
- Knowledgeable of state testing procedures and requirements;
- Knowledgeable of district testing programs;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and families;
- Excellent time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently;
- Strong skills with student data-management systems and Google Suite products;
- Knowledgeable of Testing Center website resources;
- Maintain the security of examinations and supplements by adhering to testing procedures;
- Perform computer software updates when needed and communicate with Testing Team as required;
- Ensuring that all qualified candidates are able to take the appropriate computer-based state exam, followed by logging, checking and scanning all paperwork;
- Knowledge of the rules and requirements of the Texas Education Agency for state testing;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate multiple projects to meet specific deadlines;
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information;
- Ability to maintain a professional, calm, and service-oriented demeanor during high-stress situations;
- Ability to communicate technical and complex information and data to varied audiences.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- A minimum of 1-year of customer service experience is preferred;
- Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly preferred;
- Current or retired teachers are preferred but not required.
Education & Certification Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

- April 27 - 28, 2023 (8:00am-5:00pm)
- May 4 - 5, 2023 (8:00am-5:00pm)
