Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides individual, group and family therapy, psycho-education, and psychosocial assessment services to patients. Also provides consultation and education to medical staff at Green Oaks Hospital and Medical City of Dallas.

What will you do in this role

• Applies appropriate theory that is scientifically sound as a basis for decisions regarding clinical practice
• Collects and documents clinical data that is comprehensive, accurate and systematic
• Develops a treatment plan and update with specific goals delineating clinical intervention unique to the
• patient
• Facilitates process and educational groups for patients and their family members
• Performs psychosocial assessments as requested for inclusion in the medical record
• Communicates with patient, family, treatment team, physician and payors
• Networks with peers and other mental health providers to develop the Counseling Services Program

What qualifications you will need:

• 
  Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Satori Alternatives Manag Aggr must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychologist, or License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Masters Degree
