Overview:

Our client, provides access to one of the largest sources of contract clinicians, seeks an accomplished Therapy / Rehabilitation (SLP Outpatient).

*** Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship ***

*** Location: 3665 Kearny Villa Road, San Diego, CA 92123

*** Duration: 3 - 4 months w/ possibility of extension

Notes:

· Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 16:30). M-F option of 4 x 10s OR 5 x 8 *traveler has option on schedule* 0800-1630 or 0800-1830.

· Candidates will float within hospital and for NICU they float satellite locations.

· For NICU and HomeCare positions, candidates are reimbursed for mileage when driving to any other location, other than their home base facility they signed for at for NICU.

· Mileage is reimbursed at IRS standard rate.

· Travelers on 3x12 schedules are required to pick up a 7th shift biweekly IF census demands it. This is NOT a guaranteed biweekly 7th shift.

Description:

· Evaluates and diagnoses the communication and functional ability of patients through administration and interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient/family interview.

· Creates individualized treatment and educational plans and provides patient/family counseling.

· Develops and implements innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patient's functional potential, based on clinical findings.

· Consults with medical team and allied health professionals and documents all pertinent clinical findings to render a comprehensive, family-based intervention plan.

Qualifications:

· COVID Vaccination required for all on-site employees. Current Booster.

· Must already have CA SLP Licensure.

· 1 year of experience as an SLP.

· ASHA Speech Language Pathologist licensure.

· AHA BLS Certification.

· Master's Degree.
