Job description
Dancing Moose Montessori School is growing! Dancing Moose is an 18-month
through 2nd grade program, and is looking for teachers to join their toddler
team.
Dancing Moose and members of their team have been recognized as
Best of State for several years for a variety of contributions in early childhood
education.
Dancing Moose has an in-house MACTE accredited Teacher Education
Program where teachers can receive a Montessori teaching credential in the
ages 0-3 years, 3-6 years and 6-9 years.

Dancing Moose is looking for energetic teachers who are invested in
promoting children’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
Dancing Moose Montessori School welcomes applicants who have
- A high school diploma;
- A capacity to think creatively and collaborate with peers;
- An ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, teachers and administrators;
- A desire to engage in in-service training to enhance knowledge of teaching and learning;
- Enthusiasm to work with children in child-directed learning activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the health and safety of all students at all times;
- Maintain a peaceful, calm demeanor at all times to build trust with students;
- Accompany children to the playground and gym as required;
- Maintain constant supervision of all children assigned to their care;
- Maintain a clean and orderly classroom environment;
- Participate in community events and classroom programs;
- Demonstrate willingness to continually learn and improve professional practice, including the accomplishment of annual goals;
- Facilitate children’s exploration and discovery of knowledge with Montessori materials as directed by Lead Teacher;
- Make expectations clear and specific for children and co teachers. Follow through with consequences that are consistent with Positive Discipline while always modeling acceptable behavior;
- Exhibit professionalism in attendance, dress, demeanor and policies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
