POSITION SUMMARY
The Tool Crib Associate position will consist of managing inventory for the Tool Crib Warehouse.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receive, store, and issue materials, oils and chemicals, and equipment.
Sort and place incoming materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
Maintain a record of hand tools and equipment as issued and inspect returned tools for damage.
Perform cycle and inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Enter and verify purchase requisitions in ERP system (Odyssey).
Create new code for all new purchased items (inventory or non-inventory).
Create purchase orders in ERP (Odyssey) and submit for approval.
Work with managers to ensure that inventory levels are correct and assist with purchasing new tools.
Deliver oils and chemicals, packages, and production materials.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Performs other related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Climate controlled tool crib, occasional exposure to production area (high heat, fumes, noise), risk of cuts and burns.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical exertion required with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, write and communicate in comprehensive English.
Basic mathematical skills such as, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Must be able to obtain MKC forklift certification
Able to use and understand, micrometers, electronic indicators, dial calipers and other precision gauges.
Previous MRO experience a plus.
