Grace Manufacturing is a contract manufacturing facility, specializing in medical devices. We are seeking qualified candidates for a Tool & Die Maker position at our facility in Russellville, AR.

This position is a full-time, non-exempt position and is responsible for the set up and safe operation of basic tool room equipment used in the manufacture and/or repair of facility tooling and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Safe use and proper care of standard tool room equipment, (i.e. lathes, surface grinders, milling machines, etc)
• Make decisions as to the proper methods and tools to be used in the fabrication and/or repair of fixtures, tools, gauges, and dies
• Working knowledge of shop math, blueprint reading, GD & T, calipers, gages, and various mechanical operations to ensure product specifications
• Assist engineering in developing new fixtures, tools, gauges, and dies
• Ability to work with engineering & operators to identify problems & make recommendations on how to make changes for improvement or design new fixtures to improve operations
• Order needed shop supplies such as drills, end mills, punches, etc
• Assist production with setup issues and other production issues
• Assist maintenance in repairing machines
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) or more years of tool room experience or equivalent operating lathes, surface grinders, mills, etc
• Ability to understand drawings, solid models, written instructions, and verbal instructions
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages, indicators and others
• Must have good teamwork skills, be flexible, and be able to meet and maintain performance standards
• Must be detail oriented and take responsibility of the quality of his/her work
• Attendance and punctuality are key components in performing his or her job functions
• Preferred - Completed an accredited Tool & Die Program (or apprenticeship program)
