Job description

The primary function of the Bulk Material Handler will be to load/unload railcars and/or trucks on a daily basis. This position will also monitor tank levels and perform transfers of material to the Terminal tanks, on a daily basis. When not performing primary duties, the BMH will assist the Logistics Department and the Operations Department as needed. Additionally, the BMH will be required to perform the job duties of the Logistics Supervisor when required or directed.

The Bulk Material Handler will function as a member of the Logistics Team and will report to the Operations Manager with daily supervision from Logistics Supervisor. The hours for this position may change based on plant needs. Currently, the BMH will work either the day shift or the evening shift. Both shifts are M-F for 8 hours (excluding overtime). The Refinery Process is a 24/7 operation, so work hours on occasion could require overtime, days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• chemical or refinery: 1 year (Required)
