TRAINING COORDINATOR

This is a full-time, exempt level position.
Job Summary:
Responsible for leading and implementing Continuous College Development (CCD) Programs for the Decatur Complex. The Training Manager will prepare, develop, manage and coordinate the training of plant colleagues. This role will work closely with complex and plant leaders to assess efficiency, identify continuous improvement opportunity and support process sustainability. The Training Manager will report to the Global Technical Training & Development within the Technology & Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE).
Job Functions:
- Utilize established CCD 2.0 Tools, resources, templates to conduct Focused Training Initiatives and World Class Training Initiatives
- Coordinate with plant leadership to identify improvement opportunities tied to plant losses and define Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and training measures of success
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer plant training coordinators, CCD Leads, and Operations Trainers.
- Coach and lead plant training coordinators through the CCD process utilizing the PE Model; Assessment, Master Planning, Modeling, Replication, and Sustainment
- Provide coaching, escalation and accountability for CCD success through Review & Response meeting with each plant training coordinator
- Ensure progress is reported, and support escalated to stakeholders and sponsors on a monthly basis
- Coordinate with CoE support when training alone will not deliver the intended outcome; Performance Excellence, Packing, Automation, FI&A, Utilities, EHS, QFS, etc…
- Provide support for improvement to New Colleague Integration and onboarding.
- Manage the North American Technical Training Center to support training for operators, maintenance and I&E Technicians.
- 10 years’ experience supporting food manufacturing operations
- 5 years’ experience leading Continuous Colleague Development (CCD)
- 5 year experience in a Continuous Improvement
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
Experience:
- Managing PE, CI or CCD projects
- Collecting and analyzing data
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, or Why-Why
- Conducting Review & Response and Escalation Meetings
- Facilitating classroom, webinar, and production floor training
- Utilizing Microsoft Applications; Office, Teams, etc…
