Job description
T-Rex is seeking a Training Coordinator to support adoption of technologies at military treatment facilities and installations around the world. The candidate will work closely with senior T-Rex Technical Leads, a team of training and communications specialist, DHMS leaders/staff and DHMS vendors to plan and execute the rollout of training and adoption activities.

The Workforce 3.0 program within DHMS is a managed solution that leverages innovative new processes, methods, and best-in-class methodologies from the private sector to enable the entire PEO DHMS workforce to deliver world-class technology. The DHMS systems provide important health IT capabilities to 9.6 million active military, their families, and their beneficiaries. Responsibilities:
- Training Coordination
- Develop and refine Communications SOPs
- Provide deployment communications oversight for increased and overlapping waves, including attending major relevant meetings for communications insights, regularly coordinating with deployment team
- Participate in weekly meetings with external stakeholders, specifically, Wave Hub and Spoke meetings. Communicate key impacts from meeting associated with change management initiatives.
- Review and coordinate the updating of tip sheets, in association with DHA-HI, to ensure accuracy of materials available to end users
- Develop and refine repeatable communications processes for use during Go- Live/Command Center, including Command Center Support preparation meetings
- Support DHMSM Go-Live activities virtually, including identifying tip sheets, flashes, user manuals, etc. to support end users with key information based on reported needs
- Attend daily enterprise-level Go-Live meetings virtually, to identify gaps, and synchronize with key stakeholders. Address activities, including insights, challenges, and recommendations, daily with government leadership
- Coordinate and support demos of Patient Portal Champion Tools housed on milSuite during Command Executive Brief and ad hoc demos as needed
- Coordinate and support demos of Change Communications Toolbox during Command Executive Brief and ad hoc demos as needed
- Process Improvement
- Evaluates internal processes and identifies opportunities for improvements
- Undertakes unique organization challenges as they emerge
- Gathers key performance indicator data for functions being reviewed; evaluates current state, and proposes future state goals and objectives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Communications Manager, Training Coordinator, Training/Roles Manager or other relevant role
- Experience communicating, designing, developing, managing, monitoring, and executing training for technology in concert with complex set of stakeholders and according to customer requirements
- Experience developing Communications processes for technology adoption
- Experience Demonstrating new technologies
- Experience developing, tracking, and reporting customer success metrics/defects
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or another similar discipline
- Medical billing knowledge
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement
- Patient Portal Champion Tools housed on milSuite
