• One position available, qualified candidate may work in the Mount Joy, PA, Mechanicsburg, PA or Westminster, MD branch location. Must be willing to travel to Mechanicsburg, PA once a week every other week for team collaboration sessions.

Position Description: Training Specialist will assist with the creation, coordination, and implementation of training initiatives to aid in the constant development of the Association.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Aids in the connection of individual employee training needs with training resources.
• Assists Subject Matter Experts and other Training Team members with training initiatives.
• Assists the Training Team with training plan creation and execution.
• Coordinates internal and external training events. Coordination includes: Determining attendee participation, coordinating cross-functional department support, printing and assembly of materials, live and virtual training facilitator support, training evaluations and reporting and recording.
• Supports the management and assignment of recorded training content in Cornerstone LMS.
• Sends training and conference announcements, details, and follow-up communications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in business, communication, training, or organizational development.
• Detail oriented, independent judgment skills and strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to utilize technology and systems to ensure successful training coordination and implementation.
• Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.
• Demonstrate a willingness to be collaborative and ability to develop and work well in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision and proven self-starter.
• Ability to be assertive and decisive in arriving at sound business decisions which serve the best interest of the association and borrower.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
