TradePMR is expanding our Transitions team. We are looking for a customer-service oriented, reliable, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual to help onboard our growing client base.
This position does require travel approximately 25% of the time. This position can be based out of either our Gainesville, FL or Tampa, FL location.
The Transition Services Consultant is responsible for onboarding new clients to the TradePMR platform both external and from the WFA pipeline. In this role a consultant will manage the full cycle of the transition process including running meetings, traveling on-site to clients for the week of the transition, troubleshooting any issues with internal departments and First Clearing to ensure successful onboarding, and managing first impressions for service levels at TradePMR for new firms.
Responsibilities:
· Manage initial impressions for all new firms transitioning to the TradePMR platform by providing exemplary White Glove Service across the entire onboarding process, including creative problem solving for complicated onboarding issues.
· Schedule and manage weekly calls with transition firms and transition team at First Clearing over a 20-week period to navigate process of transitioning book of business from retail broker-dealer to the RIA platform
· Manage weekly calls with existing RIAs onboarding from another custodian, run point on operational inquiries, provide training on TradePMR operating platform.
· Coordinate with pending RIA’s compliance consultant to ensure timely creation and delivery of RIA documents needed for client mailing.
· Review and process transition forms submitted by practice for clients consenting to transition.
· Work with RIA and First Clearing to resolve issues related to rejected documents.
· Travel to location of RIA for on-site support the week of transition.
· Consult with TradePMR departments and share information pertaining to pending transitions – number of accounts, AUM, business mix.
· Continue as liaison to advisors post transition, resolve transition related issues until RIA feels comfortable contacting the appropriate TradePMR department as needed.
· Represent TradePMR at industry conferences across the country and maintain a professional demeanor at all times when entertaining current or potential clients.
Skills:
· Knowledge of the securities industry particular to the retail channel and variations of requirements of retail brokerage versus the RIA platform.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
· Professional demeanor in verbal and written communication.
· Proactive problem solving.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a solid foundation in finance or economics or related field with 2+ years’ experience. (Preferred)
· Series 7 license.
· Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
