Fern Expo is searching for a talented and experienced customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Transportation Coordinator. Our Transportation Coordinators arrange and manage pickups and deliveries across multiple shows in multiple locations. Manage and assist other sales personnel with corporate clients and trade shows. You will work as part of a team and will be required to cover other team members while traveling and on the show site. What you will be doing:

  • Provide transportation services to exhibitors by selling and booking shipping orders pre-, during, post-show, and business-to-business.
  • Actively market and sell transportation services to exhibitors at assigned Fern shows.
  • Provide consistent hands-on customer service, including tracking/tracing, resolving service issues, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, verbal, and written skills
  • Frequent show coverage on-site as an official carrier, requiring travel
  • Achieve specified sales volumes and year-overgrowth.
  • Build relationships and establish trust with customers
  • Work well with and strengthen the Fern Transportation team

What you’ll bring:

  • 1 year or more experience in Transportation and logistics.
  • Proven ability to balance multiple simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong client relationship and service delivery experience
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
