Job Description:

As the Travel Specialist you are responsible for reviewing government travel documents through the Defense Travel System (DTS) to correct administrative errors prior to approval by the Government in accordance with (IAW) DoD Financial Management Regulation (DoD FMR) and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR/JFTR). You will communicate with government travelers. Performs investigative research and/or help desk functions in support of the Government Travel Program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an Active Security Clearance level Secret
• Work Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Educations (one of the following):
  • Associate Degree with two (2) years of relevant experience or a High School diploma or GED equivalent with four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge and experience with
  • DoD Financial Management Regulation
  • Joint Travel Regulations
  • Defense Travel System
  • Ability to follow written directions
  • Data Entry Experience

JSL has a variety of work environments depending on the specific job and not all environments will be the same for all jobs. Security Clearance:
