We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our Heritage Imaging team as a full-time or part-time traveling PET-CT or Nuclear Medicine technologist. This position will be primarily in Coos Bay. Must be able to cover if/when needed at other sites throughout Oregon and Washington state. Schedule will be established upon hire.

Schedule: Site hours will be from 7:00am- 5:00pm.

• Coos Bay- Every Friday and every other Saturday. Every other Monday is also a possibility in upcoming months.

Summary: Operate Positron Emission Tomography–Computed Tomography (PET/CT) equipment; perform PET/CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques to produce high quality images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient. Administer radiopharmaceuticals in each diagnostic study. Follow radiation safety techniques. Must be able to travel throughout Oregon and Washington for coverage when needed.

Education: Associate or Bachelor degree in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine. Requires National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification. ARRT (CT) certification preferred. Annual education courses, as assigned.

Certification/Other Requirements: Current ARRT (N); NMTCB; BLS; Oregon State Licensure. Current TB and vaccinations. Valid driver’s license required.

Experience: Clinical knowledge typically obtained with at least 2 years of experience in a health care setting. CT training and/or experience preferred. PET/CT experience/training preferred.
