We are currently looking to hire a talented Trim Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. The ideal apprentice will have prior experience as well as a love for woodwork, and will be willing to learn and adapt to the needs of our company. Candidates who join our team will benefit from on-the-job experience, quality training and competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Installing molds and trims on windows, doors, and baseboards
• Installing cabinets and countertops
• Interpreting blue prints to trims inside homes and buildings
• Determine measurements for building materials.
• Run the saw to cut wood.
• Run the sander to sand wood.
• Install, repair, and modify structural framework of a building.
• Use hand tools such as hammers, saws and screwdrivers.
• Perform demolition tasks.
• Measure and cut lumber and metal pipes to required lengths.

Requirements:

• Prior carpentry expeirence with finishing, cabinetry, baseboards, or framing.
• Experience with blueprint reading.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must have an active driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs, squat, stand, and kneel.

Compensation and Beneftis:

• Competitive starting pay based on experience. Range $19 to $22 per hour.
• 7 paid holidays including birthday.
• Paid Time Off or PTO available after 60 days of employment.

• Weekly pay by direct deposit.

Work Hours and Project Location: Monday - Friday Start time varies by season., but no later than 7 a.m. Project locations vary, but we have construction jobs in Union, Washington, St. Clair, New Haven, Warrenton, Montogomery City, Ellisville, and Farmington. Company pays for drive to project site if out of the local area of Franklin County.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
