COMPENSATION

• Driver break-in scale hourly rate ($24.17/hr. - $28.43/hr.) and pension rate
• Union benefits package (TEAMSTERS LOCAL 58)
• Shift is Tuesday through Saturday 4:30 AM 1:00PM with overtime (we are heading into Peak Season)
• Clark, Cowlitz, Wahkiakum & Skamania Counties - HOME DAILY

PEPSICO PBNA Ridgefield CDL Class A Delivery Drivers report to the Driver Supervisor and are responsible for expertly delivering and merchandising PepsiCo products in large and small format accounts. This is accomplished by using flawless communication skills, unwavering customer service, and expert knowledge of the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Exceptional understanding of the Delivery Driver role through:

Display, Fill, Rotate

• Proactively provide best in class delivery service and merchandise according to industry leading standards
• Consistently ensure all beverage sections, displays, coolers, and all points of availability are properly stocked and maintained with proper product and levels.
• Efficiently work all assigned incoming loads.
• Effectively organize and maintain backroom/back stock areas in an orderly fashion.
• Ability to work independently while still working towards accomplishing PepsiCo PBNA Ridgefield team goals.

Develop and enhance effective relationships with all customers through:

Customer relationships, Customer satisfaction, Partnership support

• Effectively partner with account Managers to launch specific store initiatives for new items/packages and innovation.
• Regularly identify account opportunities for product placements to add points of distribution.
• Successfully drive volume/placements through communication of possible incremental features
• Regularly attend scheduled events in territory, including special events, samplings, and brand promotional activities.
• Drives the delivery vehicle and delivers products to the store.
• Responsible for ongoing rotating and stocking of products on store shelves, displays, in coolers and vending equipment.
• Builds small displays and sets up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners.
• Generates invoices and is responsible for daily settlement of cash and charges.
• Has frequent interaction with store management and store receiving personnel for acceptance of load as required.
• This position requires lifting and loading cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly during work hours and pushing/pulling using from 40 - 150 pounds of force, occasionally.
• It also requires reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the store.
• Unloads pallets of product from the delivery vehicle with an electronic pallet jack or 2-wheel hand truck and puts the product in a designated area in the stores' backroom.
• Deliver product and execute all promotions.
• Service all scheduled customers by the end of shift.
• Merchandise all accounts to local standards.
• Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current DOT medical card
• Current Class A CDL & clean 3-year driving record
• Familiar with Southwest Washington region
• Minimum 6 months beverage experience preferred.
• Familiarity with the grocery, convenience, and retail industry
• Proficient in DOT vehicle requirements, standards, and regulations
• Solid safety track record
• Qualified candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during an 8-hour shift; must be able to stand and walk for at least 8 hours per day.
• Overtime work may be required after hours, on weekends and holidays.
• Member in good standing with Teamsters Local 58.
