Truck/Trailer Mechanic

We operate a full fabrication, repair, & install facility that works on tractors, trailers & vehicles for some of the most reputable companies in the country. We are an authorized Landoll & Ledwell service facility. We have a very clean and modern shop and our team takes great pride in their workmanship. A new shop is currently under way as well.

If you have a "can do" attitude, we will invest the time to train & certify you in any area you show interest.

Responsibilities:

• Bring your own tools
• Diagnostic/troubleshooting electrical systems, brake systems, motors, transmissions and hydraulic systems ( jobs will be based on your skill level)
• Diagnose with scanners and diagnostic programs
• Light/Medium/Heavy duty repair
• Maintain an operating parts stock
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Road service if interested is available
• Fabricating & installations
• Trailer maintenance & repairs
• Fill out daily detailed work orders
• Maintain a clean and uniform shop
• Stationary and Hydraulic body install and repair

Qualifications:

• Diesel Truck repair experience (a plus)
• Trouble shooting and diagnostic experience(a plus)
• Must be punctual, personal and pay attention to details
• Must be able to work as a team player
• Good written and verbal skills

• Valid NJ drivers license
• CDL a plus but not required
• Certifications (a plus, not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
