Job description

Rockland based outpatient facility is looking for a full-time or part-time certified Breast Ultrasound Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic breast sonography, and to participate in performing sonographic-guided aspiration and biopsy procedures. Technologist would also be responsible for mandated equipment QA testing, maintenance, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• State Licensure as appropriate
• American Registry of Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• BLS Required
• 5+ years of breast sonography experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as sensitivity to patients' problems.
