Summary: Performs a variety of hybrid duties related to processing of Commercial/Consumer loan document prep, loan keying and maintenance as needed
- Prepares new, modification, and renewal loan documentation.
- Proofreads supporting documentation received for accuracy.
- Orders title policies and/or complete UCC search, appraisals, flood determinations, and/or any other documentation that is required for loan.
- Analyze incoming loan requests for items needed to produce documents-i.e. approvals, proper collateral, signers, guarantors etc.
- Ensures the accuracy and input within On-Board system for all coding, to include call report, collateral, and purpose codes, loan types etc.
- Loan booking and keying as needed
- Loan system maintenance and BHG loan/PCBB loan maintenance.
- Lead for BHG loan initiation/ keying
- Reconciliation of daily loan files/ new loan and maintenance reports
- Quality Control and filing of all scanned documents.
- Lead for maintaining procedural documentation of relevant tasks/responsibilities.
- Prioritizes work according to necessity, complexity and deadlines.
- Attend regular trainings/seminars both inside and outside the bank, as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in processing customers' records and files.
- Cross train in other Loan Operations functions as assigned.
- Willingly performs other duties and projects as assigned.
- Answers telephone and assists loan officers with routine inquiries regarding loan maintenance and other loan details.
- Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one-year customer service related work experience.
- Knowledgeable in the loan operations workflow functions and understands the impact of each role within the department

Experience in banking and/or loan processing is preferred.
- Effective organizational and decision making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Customer service - providing excellent customer service to both the internal and the external customer.
- Ability to lift at least 15 pounds.
- Skill in areas related to computer operation/use - personal computers and software, including strong working knowledge and demonstrated use of spreadsheet, word processing, Internet, and banking computer software (MS Word and Excel software experience is preferred)
