Report To: Human Resource Manager
Overview:
An outstanding HR Administrator, who is a motivated team player with a positive attitude and possess good organizational and communication skills. Individual should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail, and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. This role will be a point of contact for internal and external to the Human Resources department. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow-employees, customers and management.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist managers with daily operations such as coaching, conflict resolution, progressive discipline, separations, and other issues that might be highly sensitive and complex in nature.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Process exits forms
- Assists HR team with all HR related initiative.
- Organize and execute employee events
- Assists with new hire onboarding.
- Works closely with management team to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Maintain staffing rosters.
- Filing of documents into personnel files.
- Responsible for timekeeping system processes including entering schedules, assigning supervisors, entering times, and assisting with fingerprint reconciliations, changing supervisors’ assignments, and schedules.
- Ensuring employee system processing in relation to pay/job codes changes. Including promotions, shift changes, etc.
- Manage Employee Attendance Hotline
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources
- High School Diploma- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- A strong level of proficiency with Excel and a working knowledge of human resources processes and HRIS applications
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle highly confidential HR information with sensitivity and utmost accuracy
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
