Our Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified applicants for our new Utilities Inventory Specialist position. You will perform various warehousing, purchasing, and inventory management activities for our various divisions, across multiple worksites and industrial environments. You will work in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and be a specialist in your area.

OUR DEPARTMENT
The City of Napa's Utilities Department is comprised of the Water and the Solid Waste and Recycling Divisions, serving over 25,000 customers throughout the City. Currently, the department consists of 28 Water Treatment staff, 19 Water Distribution staff, 12 Water Engineering staff, 2 Water Conservation staff, 5 Waste Prevention staff, 4 managerial and 4 full time administration staff.
This recruitment and examination is being conducted to fill one vacancy and may be used to fill future similar full-time vacancies as they occur during the active status of the employment list.
