Job description
We are seeking Summer Students for our paper mill operations in St. Paul, Minnesota. In operation since 1908, the St. Paul Mill produces both Corrugated Medium and Coated Recycled Boxboard. Due to the location (central in the Twin Cities), the mill is well suited as a local recycler of paper products. The mill consumes approximately 1100 tons per day of recycled paper and cardboard from the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.
The Opportunity
The Utility Person – Summer 2023 will work within one of several departments to assist with a variety of tasks that may include but not limited to, painting, cleaning, operating a fork truck, working on a paper manufacturing machine, outside maintenance and cleanup. Other duties as may be assigned.

- A willingness to work in the manufacturing environment.
- Ability and flexibility to adapt to assignment changes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated team skills.
- Ability to access all areas of the plant.
Schedule / Hours:
- Follow the crew rotation as scheduled (this means you may rotate shifts weekly from days to afternoons to midnights), including working weekends.
- Any overtime, when necessary, will be coordinated with the supervisor.
