Responsibilities:

Success in this position will be determined by the following measurable results:
  • Manage a daily schedule of a swimming pool route that includes 21-60 of swimming pools each week;
  • The ability to properly adjust the water chemistry for each pool, recognize the different algae types, basic pump repair/diagnostic, recognize when a pool is in distress.
  • The ability to manage an inventory of equipment and chemicals on the truck and properly utilize and replenish the inventory when needed.
  • The ability to utilize a smart phone for our Service Titan mobile platform.
  • The ability to spot opportunities outside of the call, such as upgrading other equipment or adding to the customer experience with other products.
  • Repair experience preferred, but not required.

      • Basic Tools Knowledge:
        • Names and uses
      • Basic understanding of pool equipment
        • Pumps – be able to know the difference
          • Main
          • Booster
        • Filters – be able to know the difference
          • DE
          • Cartridge
          • Sand
        • Timers
        • Sweepers – be able to know the difference
          • Suction
          • Pressure
          • Ability to replace diaphragms
        • Valves – see plumbing knowledge requirement
      • Basic plumbing knowledge:
        • Suction side vs. Return side
      • Ability to fully complete reports and use the software
      • Basic pool chemistry
      • Basic algae knowledge:
        • Dirt vs dead algae
        • Green and Yellow algae




Duties and Expectations
  • Manage daily pool cleaning routes within a 40-hour work week.
  • CVPS uniform must be worn each day and should not be tattered or torn and should be clean and presentable.
  • Responsible for keeping assigned vehicle clean and stocked with tools/equipment/chemicals needed for that day’s route/jobs/repairs.
  • Every maintenance account and/or repair job should be treated like it was your swimming pool!
  • Be courteous with customers and always provide them with a smile when talking with them.
  • Utilize the management knowledge base, online videos, and additional training sources when provided so that you can continue to learn and be current on proper pool cleaning techniques and water chemistry strategies, and pool equipment diagnostics and repairs. Problem solving is a must!
  • Interact with company systems throughout the day by following the checklist, taking the required pictures at each pool and emailing the report to the customer.
  • You are in control of your attitude, so come to work everyday with a good attitude… remember good attitudes are contagious!


Compensation
  • Starting at – Working Interview $15.00 (two weeks).
  • Bonus Potential
  • Up to 3 weeks Paid Time Off.
Requirements:
(1) a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; (2) the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, walk, bend, twist, kneel, sit, stand on a regular basis.
No other specific experience is required as we will teach you the methods designed to give our customers superior value and to maximize your earning potential; however, a high school degree and Certified Pool Operator License is preferred.
