Position Summary:
Our legal team provides a variety of legal services to support UUG and its affiliated practices. Those who excel in this role are high performers, results-driven, possess a desire to create and implement best practices & processes and have a “can do “attitude!
Primary duties & responsibilities:
Compliance and Risk:
- Manage the administration, follow-up, and tracking of both initial and annual refresher Compliance Training
- Assist in the development of training materials/job aides both at the market and MSO level
- Assist in the creation, implementation, and execution of the Compliance audit and monitoring program
- Support the Director in conducting an annual enterprise risk assessment and subsequent development of an annual compliance work plan
- Manage the initial and annual conflict of interest/outside activity disclosure process
- Oversees the development and modification of certain Compliance policies, procedures, and SOPs, both new and existing
- Manage day-to-day activities related to supporting the Revenue Cycle Management team in their compliance needs
- Project management of legal, compliance, and risk team initiatives
- Develop and effectively articulate creative solutions
- Assist with OSHA-mandated training and reporting requirements
- Manage day-to-day activities supporting worker’s compensation reporting requirements
- Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain standardized enforcement of policy and procedures

- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or related field required
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a healthcare compliance professional required, health care industry and knowledge of healthcare fraud and abuse laws and regulations preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing processes, identifying, and implementing process improvements, and project management preferred
- Teams experience preferred
