Sarasota Bay Club, one of the region's most beautiful waterfront senior retirement communities, is looking for a part time Concierge/Valet to join our team! Currently we have a need for a valet on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Primary job duties include:

Provide professional, efficient valet services to residents and guests. Offer assistance with packages, carts, etc., including the delivery of packages to residents’ units; Park and retrieve resident and guest vehicles, maintain proper key and security controls; Assist residents and guests with vehicles as needed, i.e. assisting with battery charger, contacting AAA. Assess vehicles for damage or maintenance issues; Provide security patrols of interior and exterior areas and ensure security protocols are followed; Be familiar with the facility’s emergency procedures and assist in emergency drills and issues; Provide support to concierge staff as needed, including answering calls, delivering mail, packages, prescriptions, etc. Take work orders; in absence of maintenance staff, investigate work order requests and contact on-call maintenance if needed; Other duties as assigned.

Required education/experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in customer service.
• Previous Valet experience preferred.

Skills/Competencies:

Safe, excellent driver. Computer literate. Good communication skills; must be able to read, write and speak the English language. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with little supervision. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Friendly, courteous, and professional conduct with all team members, residents, vendors, and any others with whom contact is made.
