Job description
Under supervision, performs non-invasive diagnostic tests for cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial and peripheral venous diseases in order to support the goal of quality patient care.Work requires a knowledge of Biology and Anatomy in order to perform tests and interpret raw data. Such knowledge is generally acquired through 2 years of technical training beyond high school. R.V.T. or R.D.M.S. is preferred.Work requires knowledge of general department and hospital procedures, as well as proficiency in performing technical work. Such knowledge is normally acquired during three to six months of experience.Work requires the analytical ability to solve problems of, limited technical complexity. Standard methods, guides and procedures are followed in the resolution of such problems.Work requires the interpersonal skills necessary to explain examination procedures to patients; and to work effectively with physicians and other hospital professionals.
