Rochester Motor Cars, the premier auto retailer in SE Minnesota, has an immediate opening for a Vehicle Inventory Specialist role to join our busy administrative team in north Rochester. Rochester Motor cars is Rochester Ford, Rochester Toyota, Rochester Mazda, Rochester Chevrolet Cadillac and the Rochester Car Clearance Center.
Job Summary
The Vehicle Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the following inventory specific duties:
Core Responsibilities
- Posting of vehicle purchases and in house transfers
- Bill out dealer trades and wholesales
- Adding vehicles to floorplan
- Vehicle floorplan payoffs
- Inventory schedule adjustments- weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly
- Verifying monthly physical inventory reports
- Liaison between dealer new and used car managers and office
- Audit information for ensure accurate and compliant inventory schedules and GL schedules
- Any other duties as assigned by the Office Manager
Job Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and a sense of urgency
- Previous automotive accounting experience preferred, but not necessary
- Team player focused on efficiency and accuracy
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail
- Good organization skills with attention to detail
- Critical thinker and effective time manager
- Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel
