Vendor Relations Coordinator
Catholic Health Home Care manages home care services for approximately 3,000 patients daily across Long Island and Queens. Specialized services include skilled nursing care, physical and occupational therapies, medical social work, maternal-child and pediatric services, home health aide assistance, nutritional counseling, pastoral care, infusion services, telehealth, palliative care, wound care and behavioral health services.
The Vendor Relations Coordinator is responsible for assuring that orders for medical supplies are placed in a timely manner in order to facilitate appropriate patient care by clinicians in the field. It is the responsibility of the Medical Supply Coordinator to monitor usage of medical supplies and assure that the medical supply closets are maintained at par level inventories. In addition, the vendor relations coordinator will with vendor agencies to obtain timely service reports, clinical documents, and invoices that are accurate and complete. This position will work with clinical teams to resolve any issues related to scheduling, verification and reconciliation of vendor agency visits and billing.
Position requirements include:
- Associate degree required, Bachelors preferred
- Two years of office experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Excellent customer service, and organizational/communication skills
- Strong computer/data entry skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
