Job Duties
Prepares and submits DD214 (Welcome Home) mailings information to vendor and internal staff for TSM outreach. Responds to all telephone and e-mail inquiries from Veterans, TSMs, spouses, and internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner within 48 hours.
Manage VETE and Transition and Employment (T&E) email communications account.
Maintain and update CRM (Zoho) access ensuring data is current and accurate.
Compile and assess data on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the V3TP Program and T&E and Education directorates.
Create and analyze reports for the Transition & Education directorate that captures trends and data. Manage Email Marketing Software (Constant Contact) to develop and transmit the bi-weekly newsletter, The Transition Connection.
Provide support to the Boots to Suits initiative that includes the compiling and reporting of weekly applications received. Prepares reports and presentations for executive leadership via PowerPoint that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. Research other states to determine best practices in implementation of transition programs. Participating in team projects in a consistent and positive manner that promotes the agency's mission. Reconcile, resolve, and report budgetary discrepancies and inconsistencies. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and work effectively with VETE staff, local/state/federal stakeholders, partners, employers, veterans, TSMs, and spouses.
Experience in financial planning, analysis, and data management
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Ability to effectively use software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Constant Contact and Client Management Systems
Ability to independently manage a high volume of work
Experience in data visualization and using data visualization tools.
Experience presenting technical information to broad audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred degree from an accredited college or university with a degree in business administration, accounting, finance, math or other related field or relevant experience
