Job description

Looking for full time experienced Veterinary Assistant for a busy veterinary practice in Rockaway.

Hours: 4pm- 12am, 8pm -8am or 12am -8am

( rotational weekends are a must unless you can work Monday- Friday 4pm-12am)

Duties include but are not limited to feeding, walking and sanitary care of dogs and cats that are staying within the hospital, janitorial duties around the hospital as well as aiding the veterinary technician with procedures such as blood draws, basic restraining, taking x-rays, sedations.

Applicant must be 18 years of age or older

Applicant must be able to lift 40 pound

Applicant must be okay standing for long periods of time

Cornerstone experience is preferred but not required
