Seven Hills Animal Hospital in Lynchburg, VA is searching for a Veterinary Technician/Assistant (license not required) interested in providing high quality veterinary care and excellent client & patient service. We are looking for a self-motivated, team player who is ready to go above and beyond for our clients.

• Client service and patient care
• Review client and patient history during appointments
• Discuss best practices with clients based on doctor recommendations
• Advise clients on pet healthcare, preventative medicine, nutrition, etc
• Instruct clients on administration of medications
• Assist doctors and other techs with procedures including but not limited to drawing blood, performing lab testing, fecal analysis, animal restraint
• Answering phones when necessary, calling clients with lab results
• Helping all employees with cleaning/disinfecting
• Willing to do whatever is necessary from helping kennel staff to assisting in reception

Previous experience is required.

Compensation based on experience.

License not required, however licensed technicians may apply (and will qualify for a higher pay bracket)

Schedule: (~25 - 30 hrs / week; more may be available if willing to cross train in other areas)
- Saturdays 8a - 12p (2 Saturdays / month)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
