Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is seeking Veterinary Client Liaisons to join our team! We are a full-service veterinary practice located in Bucks County, PA and provide both routine and 24/7 emergency care to a variety of animals. Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for our patients and an exceptional level of service for the owners who love them.

Our Client Liaisons play an essential role in our success by acting as a point of contact for our clients. Our Client Liaisons update owners on the status of hospitalized patients, communicate questions and concerns to doctors and nursing staff, and monitor the patient discharge schedule. Our ideal candidate must have a love for animals, experience in customer service or sales, strong communication skills and is highly organized.

Part-time and full-time opportunities are available. We are seeking to fill shifts between the hours of 7AM - 9PM, flexible availability preferred. In order to best serve our clients and their pets, a weekly weekend shift commitment and select holidays are required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a daily census of hospitalized patients
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients
  • Effectively communicate updates to owners regarding the status of their hospitalized pet
  • Effectively communicate client concerns, questions and wishes to the nursing staff and appropriate veterinarian
  • Navigate and enter pet information into the practice computer system
  • Monitor discharge schedule and add appointments as needed
  • Assist with general care tasks such as walking dogs, washing water bowls and litter boxes, washing and folding laundry and stocking supplies
  • Assist technicians and veterinarians by properly restraining animals for treatment

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Previous animal handling experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age

Salary: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
