Cats Exclusive Veterinary Center, a premiere feline-only medical practice located in Shoreline, seeks a full-time veterinary receptionist to join our team of compassionate and dedicated individuals. Our facility provides medical, surgical and dental services, boarding, and a fascinating retail area with interactive toys, beds, healthy foods and kitty-themed gifts.

A veterinary receptionist at our hospital needs to be a friendly and empathetic individual, focused on providing quality care for our patients and their families. Experience in a veterinary environment is highly valued, as is attention to detail, comfort with medical terminology, a calm and mature presence, and a desire to learn more about cats! Daily duties include: greeting clients and their cats, accessing and reviewing medical records, invoicing medical appointments as well as retail items, scheduling appointments (currently via phone and online), and handling incoming phone calls and emails from clients. An extended and thorough training plan is provided to all new employees.

Veterinary experience is preferred, but not required. A well-qualified candidate would:

• Be available to work Saturdays
• Have an interest in feline health and enrichment, and a desire to educate others on providing the best care for their feline family members
• Demonstrate stellar customer service
• Display accuracy and thoroughness in all transactions and communications as required for a medical practice
• Type at least 30 WPM

Our practice is open 6 days a week. We have a team of 6 veterinarians offering outpatient wellness care, along with surgery and dental procedures. Our hospital is progressive and well-equipped with electronic medical records, online appointment management, digital radiography for both routine and dental X-rays, and ready access to ultrasound and echo cardiography.
