Preventive Veterinary Medicine Clinic is the epitome of a hometown vet. Located in Pepperell, MA, Dr Lindermuth serves patients from all over the northern New England region. We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at Preventive Veterinary Medicine Clinic in Pepperell, MA. Our clinic is committed to providing high-quality preventive care to all our animal patients. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our mission by providing compassionate care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in performing medical procedures and surgeries.
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized and surgical patients.
- Collect and analyze laboratory samples and diagnostic test results.
- Educate clients on preventive care and treatment plans.
- Maintain medical records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Assist with the maintenance of cleanliness and organization in the clinic.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary medical principles, procedures, and terminology.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
