Stratacommneeds a collaborative, self-motivated and seasoned communications practitioner.The ideal candidate for this Vice President position will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience supporting integrated internal and external communications for government and/or private sector clients. Experience with energy industry issues and stakeholders and communicating on technical topics is preferred.
In this role, you will direct large-scale multifaceted programs, manage outreach efforts for clients, and serve as a relationship manager for both fellow team members, teaming partners and clients.Our clients will depend on you to offer smart ideas, be a strong writer, be a highly-organized project manager, and develop and execute communications plans that deliver measurable results. This role will be a good fit if you thrive in creative, collaborative and fast-paced environments. You also think on your feet, are attentive to detail, and are an expert problem solver.
Thisposition is remote. Candidates who reside in the Eastern time zone or the DC metropolitan area are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative, results-oriented internal and external communications plans and other strategic planning documents
- Support key initiatives on stakeholder outreach and partnership development
- Write client planning memos and reports, key message platforms, news story content, web content, talking points, PowerPoints, fact sheets and other persuasive materials
- Manage implementation of discrete projects and analyze the results within the clients overall program
- Plan client participation at industry conferences and exhibit events to effectively engage with potential partners and stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce creative materials and digital products
- Share actively in recommendations, ideas and strategic responses to client situations with internal account teams
- Manage day-to-day project intake and team workloads, including creating, scheduling and monitoring project timelines and budgets
- Motivate and manage colleagues to encourage professional growth and exceptional client service
- Identify and develop new business growth opportunities, including working with senior leaders to identify opportunities, participating in new business pitches and leveraging your professional network
