Job Summary:

We are a bunch of Nerds making waves in the Web 3.0 space. We are searching for an enthusiastic and highly technical Vice President of Engineering with strong interpersonal skills to manage a software development team as a servant leader. This role is responsible for ensuring that design requirements are met, overseeing the consistency of user experience, software architecture decisions and managing a team of engineers. We need your help ensuring that the Nerd experience is something to be envied by all other tech companies!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead, inspire, motivate, and build the engineering team
• Meet with developers to set the standards, and ensure best practices
• Recommending technological developments and improvements in efficiency
• Developing the team to ensure quality end products
• Provide architecture designs and direction
• Collaborate with business and engineering team to understand and implement technical solutions
• Assesses feasibility of design and project parameters within a time and cost constraint
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree, specifically in a technical discipline
• Preferred - master’s degree or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in managing an engineering team
• 10+ years in software development
