Effective immediately, Walking Tours of Austin is searching for new tour guides. But, not just any tour guides. The heartbeat of WTA is the power of story. Excellent storytelling is what we are known for and it is the reason we have rapidly grown to the premier walking tour experience in Austin! Five star rated on TripAdvisor, Google and Viator.

Be part of one of the fastest-growing, upwardly mobile and exciting companies in Austin! You will work as an independent contractor so you can add this job to your schooling or in addition to your current job as the majority of our tours depart at night.

Great pay per tour, plus our guides make great tips because they’re strong storytellers! Potential to be trained on one, two or all of our tours with an average of two to five tours per week, maybe more!

We specialize in: morning history tours, (Morning Walk Austin), moonlit ghost tours, (Ghost Walk Austin), AND as seen on ABC (KVUE) nightly news, (Murder Walk Austin), tracing the steps of America’s first serial killer, the Servant Girl Annihilator.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Tips

COVID-19 considerations:
The vast majority of our tours are outside but on occasion we enter a tavern or hotel at which time masks may be required.
