Job Summary:

MERS Goodwill outlets receive second chance goods from our 42 retail stores. Warehouse Associate sorters sort into categories to either be sold on the Outlet sales floor or recycled and baled. Sorters unload trucks safely and efficiently with the use of electric pallet jacks and walk behind forklifts. The goods are then tipped using a hydraulic lift to tip the goods onto tables which are then wheeled out onto the sales floor by Outlet Associates. Goods not sold on the Outlet sales floor are then wheeled back into the warehouse where Warehouse Associates recategorize goods into categories such as books, shoes, textiles, electronics, etc. Goods are then tipped onto conveyor belts to be baled by Warehouse Associates for aftermarket sales or recycling. The flow of goods is important and, as a Warehouse Associate, you are part of not only helping impact others' lives but are also helping keep disposed goods out of landfills.
