Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Technician – Delivery Truck Driver to join our team located in The Warehouse Technician – Delivery Truck Driver will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of a warehouse. Under supervision and established guidelines, the Warehouse Technician - Delivery Truck Driver will handle the day-to-day tasks of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and Truck Driver responsibilities (as needed).

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
• Interacts with shipping companies, purchasing, and branch management
• Directs non-standard issues and customer inquiries to senior personnel
• Follows Linde safety procedures and encourages others to do the same
• Safely operates forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage and transport product
• Prepares orders by processing requests,and placing orders in delivery area and or on pallets and in trucks
• Maintains a clean work environment by keeping area free of trash, sweeping, and placing product and work supplies in correct locations.
• Fills in as a backup Truck Driver to cover location’s routes and hot shot deliveries (as needed)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED is required

• 2+ years of Warehouse experience is preferred

• 1+ years delivery experience is also preferred

• General computer skills; Microsoft Excel and Word

• Forklift experience
