Position: Warehouse Labourer/Counter Sales (non-driving)

Location: Tonawanda NY, 14150

Duration: 8 months contract

Pay Rate: $22/hr.

Shifts: 8:00 AM to 5:00pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking Counter Sales Rep, you will be responsible for supporting branch sales, troubleshooting customer problems, and identifying and building customer assemblies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-class customer service to the local market and assist in servicing customers face-to-face through familiarity and knowledge of products
• Troubleshoot customer problems and provide creative solutions
• Identify and build customer assemblies
• Ensure knowledge of use of all equipment
• Work closely with the Branch manager and outside sales group to develop and grow the business
• Assist team in overall maintenance of the branch
• Participate in making sure all safety guidelines are followed
• Maintain key relationships with customers
• Ensure customer service and value-add is a focal point of every interaction

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and be hands-on
• Capable of using hand tools and shop equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Comfortable in a consultative transaction atmosphere
• Mechanical/technical inclination a plus
• Knowledge of different hoses and thread configurations a plus
• Industrial sales experience a plus
• Basic hydraulic knowledge a plus
• Epicor P21 experience a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $22.00 per hour
