JYF is seeking a Museum Shops Supervisor to assist with supervising the daily operations of the museum stores of the Foundation. Responsibilities include staff hiring, scheduling, and training; monitoring merchandise organization and availability; fostering teamwork; emphasizing product knowledge; and seeking to deliver outstanding customer service every day!

-Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory control principles.

-Skill in the operation of networked computer equipment as used in the warehouse and retail environment, as well as shipping and receiving processes and procedures.

-Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with staff as well as the public.

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

-Successful candidate will be able to lift/move heavy boxes up to 70 pounds, climb and descend ladders with merchandise, work in adverse weather conditions, and work with hand tools. Must have a valid driver’s license.

At least two years’ experience receiving and organizing merchandise in a high-volume warehouse or comparable retail environment is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,200.00 - $33,384.00 per year
