Job Summary

Livingood’s Appliance, Savannah’s largest independent home appliance store is seeking a skilled, dependable, and safety conscious Warehouse Manager for our Pooler location. This individual will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse and the management of the warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Receiving and inspecting incoming merchandise.

• Preparing merchandise for delivery.

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.

• Provides training, motivation, and direct supervision to all Warehouse personnel.

• Responsible for the management of equipment.

• Controls and manages inventory.

• Enforces company rules and regulations.

• Assisting in others areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years of management experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Excellent supervisory skills.

• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

• Forklift and/or Clamp operation experience.

• Excellent judgement problem-solving ability.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Valid driver's license with a clear MVR.

• Must be able to successfully complete the pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background check.

• Ability to work a schedule based on business needs (Monday-Saturday). This may include late afternoon and evening work.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including written correspondence.

• Good organization, time-management and customer service skills.
