Job description

Responsibilities

-Internal communication with co-workers
-Shipment coordination and time management
-Operate forklift and material handling equipment
-Outgoing order preparation – palletization of order contents, stretch wrapping,
labeling and preparation of shipping documents including hazardous material
identification

-Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
-Preparation of UPS shipments
-Inventory receipt and verification
-Daily and monthly inventory verification
-General warehouse duties

Qualifications

High School or Equivalent
-Computer skills for proprietary database system, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel (a plus, but not required)
-3 + years job related experience preferred
-Forklift training/certification required
-3+ years shipping and receiving experience preferred

-Experience in metal, metal wire fabrication (CNC/analog/straight cutting machines)
-Reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel and crouch
-Forklift access
-Regularly lift and move objects
-Awareness and strict compliance of required Health and Safety guidelines
-Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required

-Maintenance background is a plus for electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as well as Experience with 3-phase / 2-phase motor

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pelham, AL 35124: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
