SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Site Services Lead, the Warehouse Support is expected to have a working knowledge of basic warehouse operations. Ideal candidate must be able to manage inventory and warehouse operations with a high degree of organization & attention to detail. Coordinates inventory management, documentation, physical inventories and related tasks.

Desired competencies include: ability to establish priorities under tight deadlines and have a proven track record as a motivated, self-starter who can work on multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Support day to day operations of Logistics terminal warehouse operations. Warehouse functions include loading, shipping, receiving, inspecting, inventorying, issuing, replenishment and material storage.

2. Responsible for laying out storage space, establishing item locations, determining organization and arrangement of stock, and identifying high and low usage items according to regulations and internal procedures for warehouse and surplus material.

3. Reviews, prioritize and organizes all incoming and outgoing orders.

4. Packages in-bound/out-bound shipments by using best commercial practices.

5. Verifies in bound & out bound materials against receiving documents, noting, and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages

6. Resolves material-related issues with internal & external customers.

7. Maintain records: material receipts, warehouse issuances & assets.

8. Operate large warehouse perimeter vehicles such as ½ Ton flatbed trucks and forklifts.

9. Maintains cleanliness and safety protocols within the warehouse and associated storage areas.

10. Sound computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum three years of warehouse inventory or industry experience.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Industrial experience, preferred.
  • Construction and tools experience, preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License Required

2. Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills, including editing and proofreading.

5. Ability to read and interpret operations manuals, and to analyze and apply basic troubleshooting and repair techniques on various equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
