Seeking a Superintendent with wastewater experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in the southeast.

Salary is between $80,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience)

In this role, you will be responsible for all facets of construction on small or large projects including manpower assessment and hiring, assisting in material take-off, procurement of materials, schedule development and management, and assisting in cost control management with the Division office. Responsible for rental equipment management, co-ordination of subcontractors, implementation of the Safety and Quality Assurance/Quality Control programs. Smaller jobs may or may not include subordinate managers, so hands-on work may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all construction activities are performed in accordance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Managing construction resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
• Developing and implementing construction plans and schedules, and monitoring progress against these plans.
• Conducting site inspections and safety audits, and ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Providing leadership and guidance to construction teams, including supervisors, foremen, and laborers, and ensuring that all team members are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties.
• Maintaining accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, safety records, and quality control documentation.
• Communicating regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that construction activities are aligned with project goals and timelines.

Overall, the Wastewater Superintendent plays a critical role in ensuring that wastewater treatment facilities and systems are constructed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience in concrete, pipe, mechanical/equipment installations, electrical
• A willingness to travel, generally projects are located in the Southeast (Carolina's, Virginia, and Georgia)
• 3+ years experience in a Superintendent role, preferably Heavy Civil, Industrial, or Water/Wastewater

• Ability to read and understand technical and statistical data, interpret construction drawings, architectural drawings and specifications, and legal documents

• Prior experience effectively leading construction operations
