Momar is looking for a new Water Treatment Technician!

Primary Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Navigating/driving a territory throughout Metro Atlanta in a service vehicle.
  • Performing water testing on assigned systems.
  • Setting-up chemistry to point-of-use locations.
  • Daily customer care, including meeting with and explaining service results to on-site client managers.
  • Equipment troubleshooting.
  • Travel is 100% to clients within a designated territory.

Starting compensation depends on industry experience and ability to manage water treatment accounts.

Qualified applicants must have a history of working in an industry with the requirement to perform driving and service work throughout a designated territory, experience working in mechanical rooms, the ability to work on roofs and high places, discern colors as a part of color-based water treatment testing (an essential function of the job), and regularly lift and carry over 55 pounds unassisted as well as the know-how required to move a large amount of weight with the appropriate tools, proficiency with computers, Word and spreadsheet applications. Upon an offer of hire, this individual must also be willing to submit to a Federal background and security check.

Five plus years’ of industrial HVAC water treatment experience with cooling towers, steam boiler chemical treatment, process water loops, and troubleshooting various feed and control equipment, prior experience working as a service technician, with multiple assigned accounts to service per week, a history of building customer relationships and maintaining paperwork for customer files, and a clean driving record are highly preferred.
