WEATHERIZATION TECHNICIAN SPECIALIST

Job Location: 112 W 4th St., Appleton City, MO 64724

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Weatherization Technician Specialist is responsible for a variety of activities to weatherize homes and make them more energy efficient. Duties include but are not limited to; repairing windows, installing and sealing air ducts, combustion air openings, or ventilation openings, installing storm windows and storm doors, installing weather stripping, and performing site clean-up.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have basic carpentry skills and be comfortable with working in tight spaces (attics, basements, crawlspaces).

Will be a team player with excellent people skills. Has the ability to communicate and work professionally with all clients and co-workers with a positive attitude.

Ability to develop a trusting relationship with low-income community residents.

Twelve months of experience; OSHA 10 Certification (course and training provided by the agency).

DETAILS: This is a full time position working 36 hours per week. Hourly wage: $15.00- $18.00. Starting date: Immediately. Application deadline: open until position(s) are filled. Grade: 4
