Wellness Director will collaborate with Vice President of Operations to lead Americare’s Assisted Living division. Responsibilities include overseeing administering wellness programs. Includes all aspects of residents well-being by providing clinical oversight, and embracing the 7 dimensions of wellness through the lifestyle programing. This position will provide assistance with Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (QAPI) programs, fall reduction strategies, as well as nutritional well-being. The Wellness Director will enhance current implement new wellness programs, ensure each Assisted Living community is compliant with state federal requirements while following nursing laws acomplying with Americare’s policies and procedures. Wellness Director will supervise Regional Nurse Consultants.
Education:
- Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing as a registered nurse
- Five (5) years’ experience in Assisted Living preferred
- Two (2) years’ experience in a nurse management position in Assisted Living (preferred)
- Knowledge of state and federal Health care regulations
